Beginners

The life of any club depends on new members.  We welcome kids of all abilities to come along and have a go.

Partnering with Local Schools

We run a partner programme with local schools in East Belfast and Carryduff.  We take 12 kids from each of our partner schools and over a 6-week period, teach them the basics of paddlesports - and have some fun on the way.

Our partner schools are currently:

  • Strathern
  • Campbell College
  • Strandtown Primary
  • Cairnshill Primary

If your child is a member of these schools, you can book a place here - subject to availability.

Beginner Sessions for Kids

We offer beginner sessions for kids on the following days/times:

  • Saturday
12pm to 1pm
  • Wednesday
6:30pm to 7:30pm
  • Thursday
6:30pm to 7:30pm

These are primarily taster sessions and can be booked here.

As the kids develop their skills and confidence, we hope they will join the Club as members.  Membership is paid over a 2-month period and can be booked here.

Canoe Polo

We believe passionately about team paddlesports which is why the sport of Canoe Polo is prominent within our club.  We compete at local, national and international level as Ulster Canoe Polo.  We are currently the Irish Men's Club Champions and British Under 18 Club Champions.
