Exploring the River Roe
A group of the more advanced ability Junior Paddlers made the long trip to Limavady today to explore the River Roe .... just as it was rising to flood levels . Not too many pics taken today - too busy concentrating on surviving and looking cool. Thanks to Pete Boyle for organising this adventure and to Ronnie Wilson for giving up his day to drive us around.
Canoe Polo Swimming Pool
In December of 2014 work began restoring a delapidated swimming pool in East Belfast just off the Belmont Road. Once restored the pool will be used to promote kayaking activities and provide the first ever dedicated swimming pool for Canoe Polo. This shows how the pool looked when we first arrived on site..This shows how the pool has progressed and looks currently TThe Pool has been cleared of trees and debris and a specialist team are currently working on repairing the cracks aand damage to the concrete.
